Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally delivering on foot in your round.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 points), physical fitness for up to 20,000 steps daily and a bag weighing up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physically fit to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be a team player and adaptable at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Royal Mail driver and on-foot where required.
• Ensure secure delivery to all items on your route in line with standards.
• Represent the service in your community with a positive, flexible approach.
