Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers to serve communities. You will be the face of Royal Mail, delivering letters and parcels across your round, with a mix of driving and on-foot duties.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (manual) with up to six points, and the ability to walk long distances daily while handling mailbags up to 16kg. Shifts vary and adaptation is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Ensure secure delivery and maintain service standards in all conditions.
