Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You and your team will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, delivering letters and parcels across the community in all weather conditions.

The role is active, outdoors, and requires walking as part of the route. You’ll pass a driving assessment to start and shifts vary to fit business needs, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van between rounds.
• Walk parts of the route to complete deliveries and ensure items reach destinations safely.
