Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van across your round, and deliver letters and parcels in your community, with some walking required.

A full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, physical fitness to walk 20,000 steps a day, and flexible shifts are required. Roles offer competitive pay and the chance to contribute to the community.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adapting at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and walk parts of the route.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items per standards.
