Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in Glasgow. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, deliver letters and parcels, and represent the service in the community with a can-do attitude.

Shifts are varied, you must be physically active, capable of 20,000 steps per day, and handle mailbags up to 16kg. A driving assessment is required at start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk approximately 20,000 steps per day and carry mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be flexible to short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, representing Royal Mail at all times.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Adhere to Royal Mail business standards, including handling election materials where required.
