Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join Royal Mail. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, deliver letters and parcels, and stay active throughout the day in a community-focused role.

Expect shifts that vary with a need to walk, lift up to 16 kg mailbags, and pass a driving assessment on start. This role blends outdoor activity with reliable service to residents and businesses.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive your delivery route and complete parts of the route on foot, ensuring items reach their destination safely.
• Deliver all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items per Royal Mail standards.
