Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible Delivery Drivers at the Helensburgh Delivery Office. This temporary role involves driving a Royal Mail van and delivering letters and parcels in your community, come rain or shine.

You should have a full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points, be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day, and be flexible as shifts vary. A driving assessment will be required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your route.
• Drive a delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route per Royal Mail standards.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items in line with policy.
