Job summary

Angard Recruitment is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers for Royal Mail in the Glasgow area. As a Post Person with Driving you will deliver letters and parcels in your community, drive a Royal Mail van and perform some walking parts of your route, come rain or shine.

You should hold a full UK driving licence (no more than six points), be physically fit to walk up to 20,000 steps a day, and be flexible to shifts. Training and a driving assessment will be required at start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community on your route.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and sometimes walk portions of your route.
• Pass a driving assessment at the start of employment.
