Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join the team. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, acting as the face of Royal Mail in your community.

Responsibilities include safely delivering items on your route, handling election materials when required, and working in a dynamic outdoor environment with variable shifts. A driving assessment will be required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Securely deliver all items on your route while following Royal Mail business standards.
• Provide exceptional service in your community and be the face of Royal Mail come rain or shine.
