Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in Greater London. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van and assisting customers on foot where needed, while representing the service in your local community.

Shifts vary and you’ll need to pass a driving assessment on start. You’ll walk up to 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg, and stay active outdoors while keeping high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and assist customers on foot where required.
• Ensure timely, secure and accurate delivery to the local community.
