Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible post person with driving. You will deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally walking parts of your route to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes outdoor activity, customer service, and reliable attendance. Successful candidates will pass a driving assessment and work flexibly across shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk ~20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team players who adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and handle election materials as required.
