Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a flexible Post Person with Driving to serve your community. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van across your delivery area and deliver letters and parcels, with parts of the route completed on foot, ensuring items reach their destination safely.

Shifts vary; you may start early or work into the evening. A full UK manual driving licence with up to six points is required, and a driving assessment will be completed on start. This temporary role can become permanent.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels on your route, coming rain or shine.
• You’ll drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot, ensuring items reach their destination safely.
• You’ll securely handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
