Job summary

Royal Mail in London is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible, temporary postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining a daily drive with walking routes, and providing excellent service in all weather.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and physical fitness, with shifts varying to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to your local area while driving a Royal Mail van.
• Complete parts of your route on foot, providing excellent service in all weather.
• Safely deliver all items on your route, including election materials where required.
