Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Delivery Drivers for Glenrothes Delivery Office. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels, driving a van, and staying active throughout the day.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and a high level of fitness to walk large distances while handling mailbags up to 16kg. Shifts vary and adaptability is essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your local delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Walk portions of your route and ensure safe, timely delivery in all weather.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
