Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll deliver letters and parcels, combining driving with on-foot delivery across your route, aiming for reliable, friendly service in the community.

You’ll need a full, manual UK driving licence with <=6 points, and you must be prepared to walk long distances and lift mailbags up to 16kg. Shifts vary, and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; willingness to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your assigned area, on foot and by van.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery route safely and efficiently.
• Provide consistent, high-quality service to the community in all weather conditions.
