Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail in hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers across communities. You will drive a Royal Mail van, walk parts of your route, and ensure timely delivery of letters and parcels in all weather conditions.

Key requirements include a full UK driving licence (max six points), ability to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and the stamina to lift mailbags up to 16 kg. Roles are shift-based with varied start times and a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Shifts vary; must be flexible to short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your delivery area.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle restricted items per policy.
• Provide exceptional community service and customer focus in all interactions.
