Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van in your round, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with parts completed on foot.

This role requires a full UK manual driving licence, physical fitness to walk 20,000 steps daily, and the ability to handle bags up to 16kg. Shifts vary, and a driving assessment will be required at start. Angard Staffing communicates pay rates in advance.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route, with parts completed on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Pass driving assessment at start and maintain high service levels.
