Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers through Angard Recruitment. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels around your local area, driving a Royal Mail van and delivering on foot where required.

You'll walk up to 20,000 steps daily, handle mailbags up to 16kg, and adapt to varying shifts. Driving assessment is required on start. Pay rates vary by shift and are shown on the application.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community, driving a Royal Mail van and delivering parts of your route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items (food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Role is a vital community service; be proud to contribute and stay flexible.
