Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible (temporary) Post Persons with Driving for Royal Mail in the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area and walk sections of your route, delivering letters and parcels with care in all weather.

Shifts vary, with pay rates from £16.24 to £19.00 per hour depending on the time and route. Pass a driving assessment on start; physical fitness to walk ~20,000 steps daily is expected; full, manual UK licence required with ≤6 points.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels within your Royal Mail delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach their destination safely.
