Job summary

Angard Recruitment is helping Royal Mail hire flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in London and surrounding areas. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels, drive a Royal Mail van on your route, and walk parts of the route when needed.

The role is designed for active, community-minded individuals who stay physically fit and can adapt to varying shifts. Training and a driving assessment are provided on onboarding.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary; team players who adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van where required and walking parts of the route.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items per standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail, delivering with pride in all weather and providing exceptional service.
