Job summary

Royal Mail is offering flexible, temporary postal delivery driver positions. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local delivery area, mixing driving and on-foot sections to ensure timely delivery.

Shifts vary by day, dawn, evening, and night, with pay rates listed. A full UK driving licence (up to 6 points) and good physical fitness are required; a driving assessment will be conducted on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving.
• Drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and securely.
• Handle election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
