Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting for Royal Mail as a flexible Post Person with Driving. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, in all weather, and you’ll take pride in reliable service.

Shifts vary (Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Lates, Nights) with hourly pay rates from £13.69 to £16.44. A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) is required and a driving assessment will be completed on start.

Qualifications

• Driving licence: Full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness: be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: shifts can vary and require team players who adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Post Person with Driving: deliver letters and parcels as part of your round.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot, in all weather.
• Securely deliver all items, including election materials, following Royal Mail standards.
