Job summary

Angard Recruitment, on behalf of Royal Mail, is seeking flexible Post Person with Driving to join the delivery network. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with a mix of van driving and on-foot delivery across your route.

Candidates must hold a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than six points and be physically able to walk about 20,000 steps a day, load bags up to 16 kg, and adapt to shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• Driving licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry mailbags up to 16 kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, you must adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, using a mix of van driving and pedestrian delivery.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete your route safely and efficiently.
• Be ready to pass a driving assessment on starting the role and comply with Royal Mail standards.
