Job summary

Angard Recruitment is supporting Royal Mail in recruiting flexible delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and be the face of the service in your local area.

Roles are flexible/temporary, with shifts that can vary and require regular walking. A valid UK manual licence with up to six points is essential, plus the ability to handle up to 16 kg mailbags and maintain high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, enter and exit the van frequently, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so you need to be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van across your route, delivering letters and parcels.
• Deliver election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide reliable, friendly service in your community, rain or shine.
