Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting for flexible (temporary) postal delivery driver roles, with duties spanning driving a delivery van and walking parts of the route to reach every address. The role emphasizes community service and taking pride in delivering quality service, in a dynamic, outdoor-focused environment.

Shifts vary (day, dawn, early, evening, nights), with pay rates per shift as listed by Angard staffing.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk ~20,000 steps per day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Ability to adapt to short-notice shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, partly on foot.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and ensure items are delivered safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items per business standards.
• Provide excellent service in the community.
