Empowering Learning is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply in Oxfordshire. You will support learning across various schools, assisting teachers with engaging lessons and individualised student support.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.
• Ability to adapt and respond to diverse student needs.
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid or Safeguarding training are advantageous.
• A genuine passion for supporting student achievement and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students' individual learning needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance understanding and skills.
• Collaborate with educators to develop strategies for classroom management and student engagement.
• Help implement tailored Educational Plans for students requiring additional support.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and motivation.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on performance and behaviour.
• Participate in school events and contribute to a positive school community.
