Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking a Day-to-Day Supply SEND Teaching Assistant in Oxfordshire. The role supports students with diverse needs, assisting teachers, delivering targeted activities, and promoting inclusive learning across multiple settings.

You will work across schools, liaising with educators to implement individualised plans, monitor progress, and contribute to a positive school community. DBS checks are required for all candidates, with safeguarding at the core of the role.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar educational role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students' individual learning needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to enhance understanding and skills.

• Ability to adapt and respond to the diverse needs of students.
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid or Safeguarding training are advantageous.
