Job summary

Riverside is hiring a Relief Worker to provide a high-quality, customer-led service at Newton House in Gloucester. You will support customers under the direction of the scheme manager, helping to maintain dignity and wellbeing in a safe environment with a focus on compassionate care.

The role requires flexibility to cover shifts at short notice, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented approach to support housing and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality, customer-oriented service and ensure actions are customer-led.
• Assist in providing support to customers in the provision of service and supported housing.
• Maintain and promote the dignity of individuals to improve health and wellbeing.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, adapting to individual needs.
• Support customers to maintain independence and participate in daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate records in a timely manner.
• Liaise with family, GP and care professionals as required.
• Ensure confidentiality of personal information at all times.
• Undertake training and development as required.
