Job summary

The Riverside Group is seeking a Support Assistant in Gloucester. You will help run a supported housing service, ensuring safety and wellbeing, without personal care responsibilities. You will liaise with customers, agencies and services to support daily needs and tenancy matters.

The role focuses on recording incidents, complying with procedures, and preparing rooms for new residents. A compassionate, detail‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people.
• Basic administrative and IT skills to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of one of Riverside's supported housing services.
• Log incidents to keep accurate records of events.
• Assist customers with tenancy-related matters and daily needs.
• Clean and prepare customer rooms for new occupants.
• Assist with safeguarding and report health and safety concerns as needed.
