Job summary

Renaissance Care is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for Croftbank Care Home, Glasgow area, to ensure a safe, well-maintained and welcoming environment for residents. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning building, services and grounds maintenance.

You will support safety standards, keep accurate records, and contribute to a homely atmosphere. A clean UK driving licence and at least one year in a similar role are required; trade qualification is

Qualifications

• Proven track record in building maintenance.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to undertake mandatory training; trade qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on the building, services and grounds.
• Maintain gardens, car park and common areas to keep the care home safe and well presented.
• Oversee outdoor storage areas and maintain records in line with Health & Safety standards, including fire safety.
