Job summary

Renaissance Care Limited’s Croftbank Care Home in Scotland seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our home safe, welcoming and well-maintained for residents.

You will perform routine building, service and grounds maintenance, care for gardens and car park, and maintain clear safety records in line with Health & Safety standards. A clean UK driving licence and vehicle are required; a trade qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Proven track record in building maintenance.
• At least one year’s experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on the building, its services and grounds.
• Maintain gardens, car park and common areas.
• Maintain clear and accurate records in line with Health & Safety standards and compliance, including fire safety.
• Support a secure, comfortable and homely atmosphere for residents.

We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents. This position offers flexibility, versatility, and an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (or those with a trades background) to join our team at Croftbank Care Home for 40 hours a week.

For our residents, finding purpose in each day can come from feeling involved and included in the daily life. As the Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in creating a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment that helps our residents feel at home.

Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance on the building, its services, and grounds, as well as maintaining the gardens, car park, and common areas. Your efforts will help ensure our care home is always safe, functional, and beautifully presented. You'll oversee the outdoor storage areas and maintain clear and accurate records in line with Health & Safety standards and compliance, including fire safety. Through your work, you will support a secure, comfortable, and homely atmosphere for our residents.

Requirements

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion . The successful candidate will hold a clean UK Driving Licence and have a vehicle. You will have a proven track record in building maintenance and at least one year's experience in a similar role. You are aware of Health & Safety requirements and be willing to undertake mandatory training - a recognised trade qualification is desirable.
