Job summary

DAF Fleet Services in Devizes is seeking a Supplier Operations Controller to manage fleet uptime and coordinate with DAF dealer networks to minimize Vehicle Off Road time. You will handle VOR progression with third-party partners, drive proactive resolutions, and seek ways to shorten parts lead times while maintaining cost discipline.

The role requires a background in vehicle repair or fleet management, excellent communication, and a proactive, organised approach to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience of vehicle repair / fleet management within commercial vehicle sector.
• Technical automotive experience; service/parts advisor or technician moving to coordination.
• Understanding of reducing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time.
• Strong customer service track record and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage uptime of customer fleet and coordinate with dealer network.
• Progress Vehicle Off Road (VOR) cases and liaise with third parties.
• Mitigate downtime and drive proactive resolutions with suppliers.
• Explore options to reduce parts lead times and workshop delays.
• Ensure cost control and effective communications with manufacturers.
