Job summary

Headway Recruitment is recruiting a Business Development Executive for an established specialist in commercial vehicle safety systems and fleet technology based in the North West. You will identify and win new business, manage your territory, and build lasting relationships with Fleet and Transport decision-makers across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and surrounding areas.

Regular customer travel is required with occasional overnight stays; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

You will have a proven track record in B2B business development.
You will be proactive, commercially driven and skilled at building relationships.
Experience in fleet, automotive or transport sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Identify and win new business with fleet operators, transport businesses and dealers.
Build relationships with Fleet Managers, Transport Managers and other decision-makers.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable safety equipment, cameras, telematics and vehicle accessories.
Manage opportunities from initial contact through to quotation, negotiation and order.
Maintain an organised pipeline and accurate CRM forecasts.
Collaborate with sales, engineering and operations teams to deliver practical solutions.
