Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is recruiting a Fleet Service Advisor for an early shift based in Alfreton (DE55). The role focuses on coordinating vehicle servicing, liaising with drivers and engineers, updating fleet systems and ensuring vehicles remain safe and compliant. The position is permanent with a 05:30-14:30 schedule.

You will need excellent communication, strong organisational skills and good IT abilities. Prior fleet/transport experience is desirable, but not essential, and a proactive approach is

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Liaise with drivers, engineers and external service providers.
• Monitor vehicle availability and help minimise operational downtime.
• Maintain accurate records and update fleet management systems.
• Ensure servicing, maintenance and compliance requirements are kept up to date.
• Respond to queries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the wider fleet team with day-to-day administrative and operational duties.
