Marlborough Highways seeks an experienced Transport Administrator to join the transport department. You will provide specialist administrative support, guidance and keep processes efficient for internal and external stakeholders.

Key duties include vehicle pre-use checks, managing the Jaama Key2 system, coordinating vehicle repairs and training drivers on the app. You will liaise with the Transport Manager and support on-site operations across Essex and London as needed.

Competenze

• Experience of supporting a transport or plant operation.
• Good understanding of the operating licence regulations and how to work within these guidelines.
• Understanding of Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulation (LOLER).
• Strong background of working in an office environment.
• Conflict management with calm and professional approach.
• Experience training others including system training is advantageous.
• Driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Essex and London as required.

Mansioni

• Ensure drivers complete daily vehicle pre-use checks and chase gaps.
• Maintain Jaama Key2 vehicle list; update as required.
• Coordinate with Transport Manager on changes: drive status, repairs, VOR, off hire.
• Be first point of contact for breakdowns; liaise with third-party suppliers.
• Provide transport-related issue support to drivers and operators.
• Oversee processes within the transport team ensuring timely completion.
• Assist with driver training on the Jaama Key2 app.
• Raise purchase orders for invoices and manage repairs scheduling.
