Job summary

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a dedicated data administration professional to join the Fleet Resource and Support Team in Chichester. You will ensure accurate recording of vehicle and equipment data, maintenance events and costs, while supporting the Team Leader in delivering a high-quality administration service.

key responsibilities include recording data, storing compliance documents, and communicating with stakeholders about required data and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Strong attention to detail to enable accurate data handling.
• Excellent organisational skills to juggle vehicles schedules, service records and fuel statements.
• Experience of data management including interpreting data to provide insights for future outcomes.
• Excellent grammar and spelling.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely recording of data related to vehicles and equipment, including creation of maintenance events and recording of costs.
• Vehicle compliance document storage and tasks related to assessment of ‘whole life’ vehicle costs.
• Communication to/from key stakeholders regarding data required and produced such as compliance paperwork, daily safety checks, fuel statements.
