Job summary

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a dedicated and organised data administrator to deliver a professional, customer-focused service. You will ensure that all data and activities related to vehicles and their equipment are recorded accurately and stored securely.

In this varied role you will support the Fleet Resource and Support Team, assist with maintenance events and costs, and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong attention to detail to enable accurate data handling.
• Excellent grammar and spelling.
• Experience of data management including interpreting data to provide insights for future outcomes.
• Great organisational skills to juggle vehicles schedules, service records and fuel statements.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely recording of data related to vehicles and equipment, including creation of maintenance events and recording of costs.
• Vehicle compliance document storage and tasks related to the assessment of 'whole life' vehicle costs.
• Communication to/from key stakeholders regarding data required and produced such as compliance paperwork, daily safety checks, fuel statements.
