Job summary

Briggs Equipment is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Fleet Controller in Lisburn to manage a dynamic hire fleet, perform admin duties and deliver excellent customer service. The role involves coordinating inspections, liaising with customers and suppliers, and ensuring all hire processes run smoothly from order to invoice.

You will support the CVM team with documentation, tracking, and compliance while maintaining accurate vehicle records and handling queries outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative role.
• Desirable understanding of Commercial Vehicle Hire.
• Good IT skills with strong Excel knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and show initiative.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage a commercial vehicle hire fleet and ensure vehicles are ready for hire.
• Conduct delivery and collection inspections and report defects or service needs.
• Coordinate repairs, servicing and aftersales with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Support the CV BDM with daily administration and maintain hire process accuracy.
• Process vehicle hires, track allocations, generate invoices and monitor fleet availability.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and documentation.
