Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to support the growth and profitability of the Fleet business. You will work with commercial, operational and finance teams, turning data into actionable insights to influence pricing, contracts and service delivery.

You will partner with Fleet and Finance to deliver analysis, reporting and recommendations that drive performance, profitability and future growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a comparable Senior Commercial Analyst, Finance/Commercial Business Partner, or similar commercially focused role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial, commercial or operational data.
• Ability to translate data into clear insight and recommendations that drive business performance.
• Confident stakeholder management with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insightful analysis of sales, margin and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities that drive profitable decision‑making.
• Produce and maintain commercial reporting, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support the management of customer contracts through pricing reviews, profitability analysis and performance monitoring.
• Partner with Fleet, Finance and operational teams to influence decision‑making and drive growth initiatives.
• Contribute to tenders, pricing strategies and continuous improvement projects to maximise revenue and margin.
