Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to support the growth and profitability of the Fleet business. You’ll use data and insight to identify opportunities, influence pricing and service delivery, and partner with commercial, operational and finance teams to drive performance.

You will deliver analysis of sales, margin and contractual performance, with a focus on strategic pricing, tenders and continuous improvement, while working in a hybrid model at the Redditch Support Centre.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Commercial Analyst, Finance/Commercial Business Partner, or similar commercially focused role.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex financial, commercial or operational data.
• Ability to translate data into clear insight and recommendations that drive business performance.
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels of the business.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential; exposure to Power BI would be highly beneficial.
• Proactive, commercially focused mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Experience working in a similar fast paced, complex organisation / industry.

• Produce and maintain commercial reporting, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support the management of customer contracts through pricing reviews, profitability analysis and performance monitoring.
• Partner with Fleet, Finance and operational teams to influence decision-making, support growth initiatives and improve commercial performance.
• Contribute to tenders, pricing strategies and continuous improvement projects, helping to maximise revenue, margin and customer outcomes

About the role

As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the growth and profitability of our Fleet business. Working closely with commercial, operational and finance teams, you'll use data and insight to identify opportunities, improve performance and support informed decision-making across customer contracts, pricing and service delivery.

At Halfords, we operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days on site at our Support Centre in Redditch. Your onsite days will primarily be in Redditch, but this role will require some travel on those days to our Stockport Fleet Contact Centre and / or our customer sites.
