Grantley Hall invites an experienced Afternoon Tea Assistant Manager to lead the iconic tea service at our distinguished luxury estate in North Yorkshire. You will manage a small, skilled tea team, oversee service quality and guest interactions, and work closely with culinary and beverage colleagues to maintain our high standards.

The role demands a proactive leader who inspires staff, ensures impeccable presentation, and drives guest satisfaction across all service touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior hospitality role, preferably luxury hotels or high-end tea rooms.
• Strong leadership with track record of developing teams.
• Excellent knowledge of traditional and contemporary tea service and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Afternoon Tea service with focus on presentation, timing and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and schedule a team of tea attendants; foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards with regular checks and audits.
• Manage inventory of teas, pastries, crockery and supplies; coordinate with procurement to minimise waste.
• Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to develop seasonal menus aligned with luxury positioning.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve service issues promptly, prioritising guest satisfaction.
• Prepare detailed service reports, analyse feedback and implement enhancements to elevate the experience.
• Support Head of Food & Beverage in staff training to uphold service excellence.
