Job summary

CEL Solicitors is seeking a First Response Agent in Liverpool City Centre on a permanent, part-time basis. Hours are Monday to Wednesday, 08:00–14:00, with a starting salary of £11,896 per year.

You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through a qualification process, outlining the claims pathway and ensuring initial documents are completed before routing to Solicitor teams.

In this role, you'll deliver outstanding service to prospective clients and turn marketing-generated enquiries into new clients for the firm.

What You'll Be Doing

As a First Response Agent, you'll contact clients using our dialler system and guide them through a set of qualifying questions to assess whether we can help with their claim. If they're eligible, you'll explain the claims process, walk them through funding options, and make sure initial client care documents are signed. You'll then pass the client to our Solicitor teams to progress their case.

Your working hours will be Monday to Wednesday, 08:00–14:00.

• The ability to stay calm and handle objections or challenging conversations
• A customer-focused attitude and a genuine wish to help people
• Good attention to detail and the ability to process information accurately
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems

It would be great (but not essential) if you have:

• Experience in a call centre, sales, outbound calling or other customer-facing role
• A law degree, or an interest in law and consumer rights
