Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Welham Green (AL10 8XF) is seeking an experienced Warehouse Stock First Line Manager to lead the stock team, drive performance and ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor stock accuracy, produce reports for senior management, and collaborate across shifts using JDA and other warehouse tools.

The role is permanent, full-time with rotating early and late shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, with a £33,000

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Stock First Line Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, efficient, and productive operation by providing leadership, guidance, and support to the warehouse team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting the warehouse stock team to achieve operational targets and service levels.


• Monitoring stock accuracy and inventory performance across the operation.


• Producing, analysing, and presenting reports to senior management and key stakeholders.


• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.


• Ensuring all activities are completed in line with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.


• Driving continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance monitoring.


• Supporting and coaching colleagues to deliver results and maintain high standards.


• Working with JDA systems and other warehouse management tools to manage stock and operational performance.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can combine strong operational knowledge with excellent analytical and leadership skills.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Experience within a warehousing, logistics, or automated operations environment.


• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.


• Experience producing reports and presenting information to senior leaders and stakeholders.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Experience using JDA systems or other warehouse management systems would be advantageous.
