Job summary

Nigel Wright Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Technician to be the first point of contact for technical queries and to keep colleagues productive and supported. You will assist with daily maintenance of the IT environment and help users maximise its systems.

The role offers exposure to cloud technologies with ongoing training, support and mentoring in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT user support is beneficial.
• Interest in developing technical skills and cloud technologies.
• Good communication and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support by phone, remotely and in person.
• Log, manage and escalate service desk tickets efficiently.
• Install and configure hardware, software and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and technical documentation.
• Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to long-term solutions.
• Create and update clear user guides and support documentation.
