Experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Engineer
Location: South East (Travel may be required)
Salary: up to £40,000 DOE + Company Van + Pension + Benefits

Are you an experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity within a growing team? I am seeking a skilled engineer to join my client’s expanding Fire Sprinkler division, delivering high‑quality installations across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in installing, inspecting, and testing sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge systems, and fire pumps. This role offers excellent long‑term prospects, with the opportunity to receive full training in sprinkler servicing and maintenance.

Duties will include
  • Installing, testing, and commissioning fire sprinkler systems.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinating with other trades on‑site to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Completing accurate service reports and documentation.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles to a high standard.
  • Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sprinkler installation.
  • Competent in using a Rigid 300 threading machine.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Valid UK driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to work day and evening shifts (approx. 50/50 split) and occasional weekends.
Physical requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at height using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
Comfortable working in varied environments (construction sites, industrial facilities, and occupied buildings).
