Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to cover Worcestershire and surrounding areas. This field-based role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing fire and security systems across commercial and public sites.

The successful engineer will have strong technical skills, be able to work independently and provide excellent on-site customer service, with a salary in the £36,000–£42,000 range plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire and/or security systems.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair fire and security systems.
• Work on Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Access Control systems.
• Carry out small remedial works and system upgrades where required.
• Cover Worcestershire and parts of Gloucestershire.
• Provide professional on-site technical support to customers.
• Complete accurate service reports, job sheets and related documentation.
• Participate in a paid out-of-hours call-out rota.
• Work across a range of commercial properties, including libraries and children’s centres.
• Deliver work in line with current industry standards and company procedures.

Fire & Security Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established and growing service team covering Worcestershire and surrounding areas.
