Job summary

Complete Security Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Manager for a hybrid role in Wiltshire. You will lead a service team of field engineers and coordinators, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction across fire and security systems.

Responsibilities include scheduling, compliance, KPI tracking, and acting as the technical escalation point. A strong leader with knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, and access control is essential, along with UK safety standards and a full UK

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a service management role in fire and security.
• Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control and CCTV.
• Good knowledge of UK fire safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Advantageous: FIA units, an ECS or CSCS card and manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the service team, including field engineers and coordinators.
• Oversee scheduling, planning and completion of service and maintenance across fire and security systems.
• Ensure delivery meets company standards, SLAs and compliance.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex service issues and client concerns.
• Track KPIs and implement improvements to the service.
• Run audits, site visits and team meetings to maintain quality and compliance.
• Manage stock, tools and equipment for engineers.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with installation and sales teams to support the wider business.
• Ensure compliance with BS5839, BS6266, NSI, BAFE and SSAIB.
• Report trends and performance to senior management.
