Zusammenfassung

AlertSystems Ltd. is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to service and repair Fire, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Door Access Control Systems across Coventry and surrounding West Midlands. You will perform fault finding, site visits, and health & safety assessments.

The role requires at least 3 years in the Fire & Security industry, IP networking knowledge, and IP CCTV experience. A UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential; IPAF/IP security experience is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking and IP CCTV is required.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced security industry.
• Experience with brands like Texecom, Paxton, Paxton, Avigilon or Hikvision is beneficial but not essential.
• Must have IP CCTV experience and be comfortable with on-site fault finding.

Fire & Security Engineer - based in or around Coventry

We are recruiting a field based, experienced service engineer from the Fire & Security Industry, who can competently service and repair Fire, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Door Access Control Systems plus gate, barrier & turnstiles. Candidates will ideally be based in or around Coventry.

Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, or phone, on a date/time to suit your working day.

What you'll be doing -

• Attend commercial sites, within a designated geographical radius, to service electronic security systems: Intruder Alarms, Door Access Control Systems, CCTV and IP CCTV Systems.
• Maintain Fire & Security Systems.
• Fault find and remedial repairs on CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Door Access Control, Gate, Barrier & Turnstile Systems.
• Carry out on-site health & safety risk assessments.
• Effectively communicate with customers.

What we're looking for -

• Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in servicing, maintaining and fault finding on the various disciplines that we support and offer.
• Basic knowledge of IP Networking.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced Security Industry.
• Product knowledge of the following will be beneficial but is not essential: Intruder: Texecom, Scantronic, Galaxy, Pyronix; Door Access Control: Paxton, TDSi, Maxxess, Honeywell, Gallagher; CCTV: Avigilon, Hikvision, Samsung and Dahua.
• Must have experience working on IP CCTV.
• Will be required to work on Emergency Callout rota.
• A UK driving licence and right to work in the UK required.
• A current ECS card is beneficial.
• A current IPAF licence is also beneficial.

What we offer -

• A basic annual salary of £32,000 - £37,000 (depending on skill set) for working 40 hours a week Monday-Friday + overtime opportunities + standby £250 per week (rota system 1 in 5 weeks) + call-out @ £30 per hour + additional benefits.
