Job summary

Osborne Appointments is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join our field-based team covering London and the South East. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control on commercial sites.

Travel across the UK and occasional overseas work may occur. The role offers independence, ongoing training, progression opportunities and a 1 in 10 on-call rota after onboarding, with a competitive package that includes a company vehicle and

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fire and/or security industry.
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across fire and security systems.
  • Good understanding of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fire and security specialist.

We’re looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a professional, close-knit team working across commercial and high-profile sites. The role offers independence, training, progression and occasional UK/international travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs
  • Work independently on customer sites and as part of a team
