Job summary

System Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer for a leading consultancy. The role covers Birmingham, West Midlands, East Midlands, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Derby and other listed locations, with salary £35,000–£40,000 plus overtime and travel.

You will service and maintain Fire, CCTV, and access control systems, including Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic and Paxton Net2, and you must have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of servicing/maintenance experience
• Experience with Galaxy and other security systems (Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier)
• Proficient in CCTV (analogue and IP) and remote monitoring
• Fire alarm experience with Kentec, Ziton or C-Tec preferred
• Experience with Paxton Net2 access control

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and maintenance of fire, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems
• Fault-finding and installation where required
• Attend sites across multiple locations as listed
• Maintain high attendance and positive attitude

Job description

A leading Fire and Security consultancy have an immediate requirement for an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join them.

Location: Multiple - Birmingham, West Midlands, East Midlands, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Derby, North East (Durham, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stockton-on-Tees), Leeds, Sheffield, York

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + overtime & travel (salary negotiable dependent on experience) OTE £60k+

Must have at least 5 years' experience in servicing/maintaining:

• Security/Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Galaxy systems experience at the very least
  • Preferably a variety of different system types (Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier etc)
• CCTV systems
  • Analogue and IP
  • Remote monitoring set up
• Fire Alarm Systems
  • Advanced systems experience at the very least
  • Preferably a variety of different system types (Kentec, Ziton, C-Tec etc)
• Access Control Systems
  • Paxton Net 2

Experience fault-finding and/or installation of above systems an advantage

Also required:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent attendance record in previous employment
• Computer literacy (our engineers use PDAs)
• Be willing to have security screening undertaken (as per industry standard)
• Full UK driving licence
